Your proxy is in maintenance mode. Here is the migration path.

Helicone put itself in your request path. Moving to toknly means taking the proxy out: point your SDK back at the provider directly, then POST a small usage event to our ingest endpoint after each call.

You keep cost tracking, attribution, and budgets — and you lose a hop that could time out. Historical Helicone exports can be replayed into the same endpoint so your charts stay continuous.

An honest boundary.

If your problem is prompt quality rather than prompt cost — you need traces, evals, and regression scoring — use Langfuse or Braintrust. We do not compete there and we run happily alongside them.

If you need hard request-level blocking enforced inside the network path for untrusted callers, a gateway like Portkey is the right shape. Our budget check is advisory-by-design: your code asks, then decides.
